That the dates did not jump too much in September for EB2-I is probably good news as it may not retrogress in October or in the following months. Even if it did retrogress in december or january, I don't believe it will go back beyond mid 2004.

So folks
We are in the Subset of 140 Approved in TSC and 485 applied in NSC (07-28 Lud)
it seems our 485 could have been transfered to TSC
the LUD was for the Transfer i guess
we have now to look at TSC Dates for our RNs
looks like long time to go !!!!

In that case I would say go for PhD. Directly file GC under EB1 - no hassle no retrogression :)

In the bad economy if everyone can get EAD it will help more. All we need is an admin fix to allow filing of I485 and get EAD benefits

Ahhhh so close!!! Mine is EB2-I - March 2005!!
Has Oct bulletin traditionally gone forward than Sept bulletin. I feel very bad for EB3. Oct has to open up for EB3.

Dear All,
The idea behind this thread was to consider the option of a Time Bound Path for he beneift of the existing EB2 / EB3 folks who have filed Labour / I - 140 / 485.
I think the purpose of this thread is totally lost.
I am not sure how STEM or F1 or whatever should be a discussion here.
Anything we start here ends up in an acrimonious debate and many a time becomes very unpleasant and personal.
What are we all here for? Is it not our idea to to bring some relief to the EB immigrants?
Once again I request one and all to kindly refrain from unpleasant debates and think of working together for the welfare of the EB2 / EB3 community.
If we have our objectives clear and work towards a common goal, we sure can achieve success!
Kindly try to understand!!!

I am VoIP Engineer I use to work in a branch office in different state from where I filed my labor. My company forced me to move to head office which in different state even though I explained them my situation they just refuse to listen. I moved to different state as I had no option. Now my labor is in jepordy. More over I was reluctant to move out of the state where I was before due to my personal choice so I posted my resume on monster expressing my job location in the state where I was working. I was overwhelmed to receive the response from top notch telecom companies and went through series of interviews. All the companies I interviewed with were ready to hire me with higher salary than my current company even the cost of living is lower in the state. The biggest obstacle came when they learned that I dont have GC and they asked me to contact as soon as I have one.
I am frustrated as hell feel like lets go back to India or other country but then when I look to other folks with GC and their lifestyle I think may be it is worth to taste the bitter moment today for sweeter tomorrow but question is how long ?:(
All I wanted to express we are not cheap labor as many anti-immigrant groups claim. Like me I know most of us have skills that are in high demand which will benefit many American Corporates and in turn will benefit America. Retrogression Backlogs and unnecessary formalities is creating a "loose loose" situation.

I read a posts by you all on immigration voice which said U.S newspapers can easily publish a name change Ad for $70!! But I hear that they need some kind of a court order to do that...Can I ask you which paper did you advertize in India and in U.S. I have the same problem as many others -- I have only one name on my passport "Kritee" and U.S. embassy when they gave me visa made it FNU (as first name) Kritee (last name). Now I want to add a first name to my passport and all documents in U.S...and am wondering if I need to go to a U.S. court or not? All and any help will be appreciated!

Just ignore the accusations. Two things here. Firstly, people are really frustrated here with all the GC stuff. Secondly, there has been lot of Anti-immigrants coming in and trying to disrupt the forums, making people inherently suspicious.

I read on Rajiv Khanna's blog that PD for LC substitution cases should be the date when I-140 is filed for substitute however, there is evidence that USCIS has wrongly assigned orginal priority date of LC filing, to substitute (I have seen this happening in one case at least, where susbstitue got priotity date of LC).

Let me start by repeating myself, it is not about EB2 or EB3. We all are EB communities. We didn't design the system, neither we believe ourselves to be superior to EB3. The point is all of us need to work together and help ourselves to change the system. IF EB2 gets some advantage then ultimately it will help EB3 as well.
It is a simple logic, when the cake gets cut it rolls down to all the people in line. If there is no cake, whats the point of arguing who is ahead in line?
Please everyone, stop complaining about who is ahead, work together. Instead of complaining do some more constructive, involve more people. lets gather necessary means to file this lawsuit.

I was just thinking and then this came up on me . How about sending a poster along with the letter campaign. I can contribute atleast three posters. They do not have to be full size posters ..can be just A4 size pamphlets kinds. We can just print them in color printer and send them along with the letters. These posters may make it to the press also as they will be funny and spicy for news. Actually, we can send copy of our letters to press as well along with our posters. If we make about 10 such posters, we can send one random poster along with the letter.
