As per one of the patrons on another thread an IO showed him a memo recieved by USCIS suggesting that all Visa numbers for EB2 India/China were exhausted

The IV's core team members deserve our unliimited thanks!
But it is also important to realize that what makes the IV great is each one of those thousands of members (and even guests) that kept visiting the site making this site so vibrant. It is this collective unity and the core team's ability to keep our focus on the right things that success has been achieved.
Not all problems have been solved yet (for example how long will it take to get EAD's, will we now be in another queue for several years, what about people in the BECs), and therefore this unity needs to remain as we go on to tackle newer challenges.
We can trust IV to keep this juggernaut going with support from all of us.

Potatoes, maybe.
But seriously growing your own vegetables is a fun activity. I have not done groceries in the last few months (exceptions being junk fast food, yoghurt etc). We grow vegetables all year round. In fact we have excess of most vegetables we grow. Try it, its a lot of fun!
And good luck to all EB2 and EB3 folks - we've seen good EB2 movement and we hope we'll see more movements in both EB2 and EB3 in the days to come. Till then, Happy gardening!!

what makes you state with confidance that the preadjudicated cases will be evaluated. can you please explain the basis of your statement. both my case and my wife's case has been pre-adjudicated and i am waiting for my green card. so do you think we should expect our green card some time next month without any additional followup. i would hate to see my case being sidetracked when some one else with pd and rd much beyond mine is serviced. any thoughts and insights. not trying to offend anyone. just trying to get some information.

Based on experience from India:
Errors in Passport and Visa entries are problem getting fixed, and if not fixed, can become cause of problem anytime.
The passport issuing office generally can fix typo error in passport as "observation", which they will write in any other page of passport. Getting fixed in any other passport office (which has not issued it) is a lengthy process.
Myself, family of four had got couple of times Passport entries fixed and Visa entries fixed (between 1992 when I was frequent traveller). Typo errors are common. In case of passport errors they fix as "Observation" on the same passport (passport is not changed). In case of Visa errors, they cancel it and give new.
Obviously, once "observation" is noted in passport, you need to show everywhere that the entries are modified
